Three steps, about fifteen minutes
No appointment, no booking, no forms.
- 1
Walk in
Come to the counter at Coptic, Nyamasaria, any day we are open. Tell us what is wrong. You do not need an appointment and you do not need to call first.
- 2
Get tested
A finger prick for malaria or blood sugar, or a cuff on your arm for blood pressure. The malaria test costs KSh 100. The blood pressure check costs nothing.
- 3
Leave knowing
We show you the result and explain what it means. If we can help, we dispense and talk you through it. If you need a doctor, we say so and tell you where to go.
Why people choose a chemist they can trust
You cannot tell, by looking at a packet, whether what is inside was stored the way it should have been. Heat and time degrade medicine quietly, and a tablet that has lost its strength looks exactly like one that has not. By the time you find out it was not working, you have lost both the money and the days.
So we buy through licensed suppliers and store stock properly, and our pharmacist is at the counter to answer questions rather than behind a screen. If we do not have what you need, we say so, instead of selling you something else that will not help.
-
A pharmacist, at the counter
Someone trained is there to answer you, so you leave understanding what you are taking and why. Not holding a packet you were handed in silence.
-
Sourced and stored properly
Licensed suppliers, kept the way the label requires, so the medicine still does what it says by the time it reaches you.
-
Prices you can check first
A malaria test is KSh 100 and a blood pressure check is free. Call before you travel and we will tell you what anything costs.
-
Two minutes from home
Coptic, Nyamasaria, next to CBC Pub, so getting tested is an errand on the way past, not a day off work.
What you get at Chetu Chemist
Medicine that is worth the money
Stock bought through licensed suppliers and stored properly, so what you pay for still works when you take it. And where a test would settle what you actually need, we would rather run it first than sell you something that cannot help.
You know your numbers
High blood pressure gives no warning. There is no headache, no dizziness, nothing at all, until the day it causes a stroke. Two minutes at our counter, free, is the only way to find out where you stand. Come as often as you like.
You understand what you are taking
How many, how often, with food or without, and what to do if you miss one. You leave able to explain your own treatment to someone else, which is the point at which it starts working properly.
You get sent to the right place
Some things need a hospital today, not tablets. When that is the case we tell you plainly and say where to go. Being turned away honestly is worth more than being sold something that cannot help.
