    Get tested

    A finger prick for malaria or blood sugar, or a cuff on your arm for blood pressure. The malaria test costs KSh 100. The blood pressure check costs nothing.

    Leave knowing

    We show you the result and explain what it means. If we can help, we dispense and talk you through it. If you need a doctor, we say so and tell you where to go.

How much is a malaria test at Chetu Chemist?

A rapid malaria test costs KSh 100 and your result is ready in about 15 minutes. If it comes back positive, our pharmacist will dispense the appropriate treatment and explain exactly how to take it.

Is the blood pressure check really free?

Yes. Walk in during opening hours and we will take your blood pressure at no charge, whether or not you buy anything. If you are managing hypertension you are welcome to come as often as you need.

Do I need a prescription?

Some medicines are prescription-only under Kenyan law and we will ask to see your prescription for those. Others are available over the counter. If you are unsure, call or WhatsApp us and our pharmacist will tell you before you travel.
